A refreshingly smoky beverage that is perfect for a winter night. This unique twist on a classic mule is the perfect pairing to all of your pellet grilled dishes and is sure to impress your friends!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz. bourbon
  • 1/2 oz. lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz. maple and brown sugar syrup
  • 4 oz. ginger beer
  • 2 marshmallows, for garnish

Directions

  • To make the simple syrup, combine ½ cup water and ½ cup brown sugar in a pot over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved, stir in ¼ cup maple syrup and allow the mixture to cool. Store in the fridge until ready to use. (A single cocktail uses ¼ oz.)
  • Using the Pit Boss smoke tube kit, fill the tube with pellets and light from the top until pellets begin to smoke.
  • Hold your cocktail glass over the smoke tube and allow it to fill with smoke for a few seconds before placing it upside down on a flat surface to hold the smoke in.
  • Fill the glass with ice before pouring in the bourbon, lemon juice, and brown sugar maple simple syrup. Stir to combine before topping it off with ginger beer.
  • Skewer two marshmallows onto a long toothpick and lay it across the top of the cocktail.
  • Light the marshmallows on fire using the Pit Boss butane torch for a sweet and toasty garnish.
  • Serve and enjoy!
