Directions
- Add ground bear meat, Kentucky Whiskey Barrel BBQ Sauce, Memphis BBQ Rub into large mixing bowl and combine.
- Divide the meat mixture into 4 even parts, and shape each around the gouda cheese wheels to create patties.
- Coat each burger patty with Pit Boss Sweet Heat Rub.
- Set grill temp to high (400°F).
- Reverse sear the bear burger patties by following these steps: Open the sear plate on your Pit Boss and sear burgers until they have a dark brown color. Once the burgers are browned, close the sear plate and set grill temp to 300°F. Smoke until bear burgers have internal temp of 135°F.
