Football season is back, which means it's time to cook up some winning snacks for game day. This Hall of Fame appetizer has it all: cheesy, smoky, and a little spicy. All made possible with the help of Melissa's Produce Hatch Chiles

Ingredients

  • 4-5 hatch chile peppers
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 8 oz pepperjack cheese
  • 3/4 cups heavy cream (could substitute milk)
  • 8 oz cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz Velveeta cheese
  • 2 Tbsp Pit Boss Smoked Salt & Pepper Rub

Tools

  • Pit Boss 12 in. Cast Iron Skillet

Directions

  • Set smoker to 250°F.
  • In a cast iron pan, add all the ingredients. Then, place the cast iron skillet in the smoker to cook for about an hour.
  • Take the cast iron skillet out of the smoker and carefully stir to combine.
  • Garnish with chopped green chiles and cilantro and serve with your favorite tortilla chip.
  • Enjoy!

Recipe Note

This recipe can be made in any smoker or smoker grill, but for best results we recommend the Pit Boss Navigator 850 Wood Pellet Grill
