Get your surf on with these deliciously buttered grilled lobster tails. Brushed with a tasty garlic, butter, and chives sauce, the lobster tails are then grilled to perfection on a Pit Boss Wood Pellet Grill for added depth and flavor. This recipe is great for a Summer's night with friends or as part of that special holiday feast.

Directions

  • Preheat grill to 350°F.
  • Blend butter, chives, minced garlic, BBQ rub, and black pepper in a small bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and set aside.
  • Using kitchen shears, 'butterfly' cut the tails down the upper side of the shell. Don't cut entirely through the center of the meat. Brush the tails with olive oil and season with salt, to your liking.
  • Grill lobsters cut side down for about 5 minutes until the shells are bright red in color. Flip the tails over and top with a generous tablespoon of prepared herb butter. Grill for another 4-5 minutes, or until the lobster meat is firm to the touch and an opaque white color.
  • Remove from the grill and serve with more herb butter and lemon wedges.
