Directions
- Cut and core your apples into small chunks. Peel the orange and cut it into fourths. Add to the pot or cast-iron.
- Add water until all of the apples are submerged (3-4 quarts) depending on the size of your pot.
- Add in cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, cloves, Pit Boss Apple Butter Rub, and brown sugar. Mix to combine.
- Put a lid on your cast-iron and place it directly onto your Pit Boss pellet grill at 275°F. Allow the apples to cook down for 4-5 hours or until the apples are cooked and very soft.
- Double-strain through cheesecloth or a fine mesh strainer and allow all of the liquid to seep through.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
