Directions
- Preheat your Pit Boss wood pellet grill or smoker to 275°F
- Evenly season the beef back ribs with your choice of rub. We recommend the Pit Boss Texas BBQ rub.
- Apply optional 16# coarse ground black pepper evenly on the ribs.
- Place beef back ribs on the grill to smoke.
- After smoking for 3 hours, check the ribs for even cooking or dry spots. Rotate the ribs if needed and spritz the ribs with your desired liquid (water, juices, colas, etc…). Be careful with using liquids that contain sugar as it can burn easily over time.
- Check the ribs every hour for tenderness. Once the ribs reach the tenderness you desire, pull them from the grill and allow to rest for 20 minutes before enjoying.
