Enabling Wi-Fi® on your Pit Boss grill is easy. We break it down here.
Want to monitor temps and manage your cook from your phone? Work smarter, not harder with our Wi-Fi®-enabled pellet grills and Pit Boss® app. Here’s how to set up your Pit Boss Wi-Fi® Pellet Grill for success.
All you need to use your connected Pellet Grill is a home Wi-Fi® network and the Pit Boss app. It is available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play for Android phones.
First, you’ll need to create your Pit Boss account. You’ll already have one if you purchased your smart pellet grill from our website and set up an account. Just type in your username and password from the website into the app.
If you checked out as a guest or purchased from one of our retailers, you’ll need to create an account. No problem. Just create a username and password.
Once you’re logged into the Pit Boss app from your smartphone, it’s time to connect to your smart pellet grill. Here’s how:
Enable Bluetooth® from your smartphone’s device settings. This is critical for connecting your pellet grill to the Wi-Fi®.
Plug in and turn on your Pit Boss pellet grill. Only turn on one grill at a time until the Wi-Fi® connection is established.
Select your grill on the Pit Boss app. Use the search function to find your model in the list.
Connect your pellet grill to the Wi-Fi®. Select your Wi-Fi® network and enter your network password.
Select “Control Your Grill” and Update Firmware. Do this and you’re done. Now you’re ready to grill.
