Directions
- Add oil, yogurt or buttermilk, lemon juice and zest, garlic, ginger, and all spices into a mixing bowl and allow to rest for 30 minutes for the flavors to combine.
- Once rested, add 1 3/4 cups of the mixture to a bowl or large bag with the chicken, reserving the rest for dipping. Optional: Let the chicken rest in the marinade, covered and refrigerated.
- Preheat your grill to 375°F
- Place the marinated chicken on the preheated grill grates. Rotate every 4 to 6 minutes to ensure even color and cooking.
- Once the chicken legs reach an internal temperature of 165°, (in the thickest part of the meat) remove from grill and allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve with a side of the marinade, for dipping.
