2022 Year In Review

2022 Year In Review

As we prepare to send out 2022, join all of us at Pit Boss in taking a look back at some memorable moments and the items that topped your list this year. We’ve rounded up all the fan favorite appliances, wood pellets, and seasonings, as well as the recipes you couldn’t get enough of. So, here’s to the best of 2022 as we prepare for what 2023 will bring!

Many of you secured a Bigger, Hotter, Heavier outdoor cooking experience this year. The fan favorite by far was the Pit Boss Portable Tabletop 2-Burner Griddle, followed by the Pit Boss Mahogany 260 Portable Wood Pellet Grill, 5-Burner Ultimate Gas Griddle, Sportsman 1100 Wood Pellet Grill, and the 440 Deluxe Wood Pellet Grill.

Pit Boss Nation overwhelmingly chose the Pit Boss Competition Blend Hardwood Pellets as their go-to fuel for adding wood-fired flavor. The runners up were Hickory Blend, Charcoal Blend, Apple Blend, and Classic Blend.

Out of all our recipes developed in the Pit Boss kitchen, the one Pit Boss Nation was most interested to try was the Shrimp Boil Nachos. It was followed up by the 3-Cheese Crescent Ring, Smoked Hatch Chile Queso Dip, Cuban Hot Dog Sandwich, and Leftover Turkey Sandwich.

Big, bold flavor was definitely on the menu for 2022, and the Pit Boss Sweet Rib Rub topped your list for achieving it. Pit Boss Nation also snagged plenty of Bold Burger Rub, Chophouse Steak Rub, Sweet Heat Rub, and Pulled Pork Rub to round out a flavorful year.
