Directions
- Fill a smoke tube with Hardwood Cherry Pellets and light. Allow to burn until a small flame is established and the tube begins smoking. Place the smoke tube in your grill and close the lid.
- Pour the salt and tajin into a baking pan and allow this to smoke for 40 minutes or until it reaches your desired smoky flavor.
- To prepare your glass brush the side or rim with the hibiscus syrup and dip into the sea salt and tajin mixture.
- Remove the smoke tube from the grill carefully with high-heat gloves place up right with the unlit side down. Hold the glass upside down over the smoldering smoke tube until filled with smoke. Place upside down on a flat surface to hold the smoke.
- To make the margarita, combine mezcal, lime juice, hibiscus syrup, and triple sec in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into your rimmed, smoky glass.
- Garnish with a fresh lime wheel and enjoy responsibly.
