Directions
- Take out your brioche bread and divide into four groups of two. Spread peanut butter on half of your slices and jelly on the other half.
- Sandwich the peanut butter and jelly halves together and press lighlty.
- In a wide bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until fully combined.
- Preheat the Pit Boss Ultimate Griddle to a medium heat, around 350°F
- Melt the butter on the griddle surface, ensuring an even coating.
- Submerge the PB&J sandwiches into your prepared egg mixture. Coat both sides of the sandwich with batter.
- Place the sandwiches on the griddle and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crisp.
- Remove them from the griddle and let rest for 3-5 minutes. Cut each sandwich into four equal slices.
- Toss the french toast sticks in extra cinnamon and sugar before topping with maple syrup and a dusting of powdered sugar.
