Directions
- Preheat your grill to 350°F and add a griddle attachment or a cast iron skillet to achieve even heat distribution. Or, fire up your flat top gas griddle to a medium heat.
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice. Then layer ham, turkey, and cheese on the mayonnaise sides of two slices of bread, and add together to form a sandwich.
- Brush your cooking surface with melted butter. Dip each assembled sandwich into the egg/milk mixture, coating both sides evenly. Place sandwiches on the hot griddle, grilling for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle powdered sugar lightly over the top of each sandwich. Serve immediately with cranberry sauce on the side for dipping.
